FG Roberts Gluten Free Soy Fibre Flour is made from pure non fat extracted, dehulled and milled soybeans to the most consistent funtionality, colour and texture. The product requires hydration and cooking to render it palatable and digestible. It may be used for technical or nutritional reasons in commercial applications. No ethylene dioxide, irradiation, pesticides, preservatives or chemical additives are used during on-site storage, manufacture, packing or transit.
This gluten free product is a valuable, concentrated and largely insoluble source of fibre which can be added sparingly to reduce the glugginess of high starch content, gluten free products. The use of excessive quantities can adversely affect flavour, texture and mouth feel. Soy fibre flour can be used to make breads, cakes, biscuits, thickenings, batters and pastries, etc.
